The NCL Experience: Crystal Springs Chapter

The Crystal Springs Chapter was formed in 2005 and chartered in 2007. The goal of the Crystal Springs Chapter is to inspire and empower women to succeed as confident, well rounded, and socially aware contributors in their communities. The daughters, also known as "Ticktockers" (TT's), along with their mothers (Patronesses) participate in a Six-Year Plan with an educational program of philanthropic work, leadership training, educational activities and cultural events.

Philanthropic Work

Philanthropy is the heart of our organization. Each National Charity League, Inc. Chapter considers the local community's needs and determines the philanthropies to support. Mothers and daughters earn philanthropy hours by working together in our chapter's community-based philanthropic organizations.

Our Chapter provides volunteer opportunities in an array of different philanthropies. The Crystal Springs Chapter

currently supports the following organizations:

Crystal Springs Chapter Membership

To become a member of the National Charity League, Inc., Crystal Springs Chapter, women and their daughters must be sponsored by an Active member in good standing. Membership requires a commitment of time, service, as well as financial obligation. Our members are mothers with daughters entering seventh through twelfth grades, who reside in Millbrae, Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo and Foster City.

A new class of mothers and their daughters must be sponsored in the fall while their daughters are still in the 6th grade.  Admission into grades 8 through 10 is subject to the same sponsorship rules and is based on space availability.

Membership in this organization affords mothers and daughters the opportunities to participate together in philanthropic work, leadership development, and cultural experiences. For further information about membership into the Crystal Springs Chapter of NCL, Inc., please fill out the Contact Us form.
